A: We strive to perform all website migrations as fast as possible. Even so, we don’t have a fixed time frame for web site migrations. There are certain facets that you have to take into account – the sheer size of your site and the workload of our web site migration team, etc. We constantly try to carry out each migration in under 48 hours. With smaller web sites, our staff usually manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: Yes. We’ll need to have the name of the site that you would like us to transfer. We’ll also need a means to access your old hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your site.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share essentially the same information you have given to your current web host. We also have an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate info is dealt with.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your old web hosting provider. When we have finished the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will need to do is change the name server records pertaining to your domain. Your website will be transferred over to us with no downtime.

A: Nah. Apart from your login info for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: Yes. We support all traditional Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.We also do not support proprietary web site building and management interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
